I am writing this on my IPod touch. d(^_^o)
When I read my last post, I realized that Hawks won the Stanley Cup almost two weeks ago.
It's just outstanding feelings that we finally have a winner in the city!!!
We were dying for it.
Actually, I am going home in July. My brother has finally decided to tie the knot! My parents are excitingexcited about it, and I really have to go to Japan for their wedding; otherwise, my parents would will hate me forever! I mean, I will go, no matter what, for my little brother, though. I am assuming that my brother and his wife to be don't really care about having a ceremony, but they are having it for our parents and her mother. Anyway, CONGRATS to my brother and his fiance! (They don't know about this blog! but I am in a celebrating mood.)
For a tribute to my quiet but macho brother!
Recently, I hear this song playing on the radio, but I didn't know who covers it until I checked on the YouTube. This song brings me back memory of my early teen years. It is weird that I remember mostly good stuff though I had trouble surviving high school years; bad memories are kind of fading away. I was a big fan of WHAM! (That was before I got into heavy metal music. hahaha) I tried to memorize all the words in this song without having knowing what this song was about.
Great song all the time!
And this is the original version. I didn't know ( or noboby knew) he was gay. Great hair, BTW. Love it.
In 1984, this song was a smash hit in Japan as well. This song was immediately covered by this Japanese teen idol. During the song, the narrative says the singer has decided to cover this song after listening the music tape sent by his friend living in the US. But I think that's bull! because the song became so popular before he covered it. What a dumbass. Anyway, he got a good voice, though.
Japanese title can be translated as "Hold-Me Jitterbug" (抱きしめてジルバ)That is lame, too...
Spring SNOW storm... I don't want to see snow in March. It seems like I am going to see that again in this evening. I remember we had a big snow storm in March last year, too. I took this video on that day.
Additionally, losing temper is one of the things that I loathe. I get really nasty when I lose temper. I probably need help, or not... because I know what triggers my anger. I should lean how to control my emotions and deal with the problem. I loathe getting in troble. Ah, pretty annoying, and I don't really need it right now.
(BTW, I started to foget the basic usage of prepositions in a sentence...I loathe forgetting something I put so much effort to learn!)
It's National Puppy Day! Show us the cutest puppy you can find.
Is it? What a cool day! This picture is one of our two dogs when she was a puppy. Our older dog was adorable, too, when she was a puppy (, and she still is). But we lost most of the pictures taken before 2005, so her puppy pictures are all lost. (T_T)
I found a spy's' hideout in Milwaukee downtown over the weekend! My husband and I have walked down the street many times, but didn't notice it . Next time, we will explore inside! Oh, BTW, I can't tell their address. It is SECRET. The picture is blurry so that the location cannot be identified. NOT BECAUSE MY CAMERA SKILL IS POOR! haha.
I found daffodil germinations under the Japanese maple tree in our back yard today. Even though we occasionally have nice and warm days in last two weeks, and I have already noticed that the long depressing winter is finally gone, I could not get rid of some gloomy and drab feelings. (I guess recent economy downturn will not help me feel better, either.) I felt so relief when I saw the sprouts growing through the hay. Ahhh, so little things brings a little happiness.
Grow faster, and show us beautifl flowers soon!
I am bad at expressing my emotions....
